So, you probably are wondering where and what I’ve been doing for the past year. Even if you aren’t wondering…that’s okay too. I’m still going to tell you.
As I told you in this post, my husband and I moved halfway around the world to South Asia. While we’ve been here, we’ve been working…mostly…but we have been able to do a little traveling.
That’s the famous Marina Bay Sands hotel in the background.
One of the many city blocks in Singapore. I believe this is Orchard Road. In Singapore, most of the walkway for pedestrians are underground, which I found to be pretty cool.
In August, we went to Phuket, Thailand. The prettiest beaches I’ve ever seen in my entire life!!!
The private beach at our hotel.
Me in the hotel lobby waiting to leave for dinner! Maxi dresses are the best when on vacation to a beach destination. So easy to pull on and go!
Phi Phi Island……
Early in October, we went to New Delhi, India. We didn’t really see much of New Delhi, but we took a day trip to Agra, India to see this…
The Taj Mahal…the story behind this beautiful building is really quite romantic.
Then, later in October we went to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to celebrate our third year anniversary. I can’t believe it! I guess the saying is true…time flies when you are having fun!!
The Petronas Towers…
Oh and one big thing I did in May….
I graduated!! I received my bachelors degree in public administration!!! Its such a wonderful feeling to be done…for now at least. I’ve been thinking about getting my masters degree, at some point. Just not now.
And, there you have it. Hope you enjoyed this little update. I plan on posting a lot more these days now that school is out of the way. While I was still taking classes (online mind you, which I’m terrible at) I simply did not have the urge to do anything once home, hence the year break from the blog.
Thanks for all of those who didn’t forget about me! Most posts to come!
